FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are walk-ins welcome?
No, all guests must purchase a ticket in advance to attend the event. Tickets will not be available at the door, so be sure to secure yours ahead of time!

 

Where and when do I pick up my to-go meal?
Pick up your to-go meal at Waite Hall on March 8 anytime between 2:30–3:30 PM.

 

When should I arrive to the in-person event?
We’ll open the doors at 5:30pm, food is served by 7:00pm, and we wrap up at 9:30pm. We encourage you to arrive promptly at 5:30 to check-in, find your seats, grab a beverage, bid on silent auction and dessert auction items, and buy raffle tickets.

 

What is the Fund-A-Need?
The Fund-A-Need is a way for you to directly support the Yolo Crisis Family with a one-time donation. These will be located in the General Auction. 

 

Can I volunteer with event set up?
Email Sharon at sschauer718@gmail.com to learn how you can help with this incredible community event. It’s a great opportunity to support a meaningful cause while having fun!

 

What if I need to cancel?
All tickets and sponsorships are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, please contact Becky Heard at bheard@yolocrisisnursery.org to donate your tickets to a guest of your choice.

 

Who does this fundraiser benefit?
This event benefits Yolo County kids! Every bite of crab helps fund programs for children in need, strengthens families, and more. You’re not just enjoying crab—you’re making a real difference.

 

How is the crab prepared?
The crab is pre-cooked and cleaned—ready for you to enjoy! Bibs will be provided, so don’t worry about the mess.

 

Will there be games?
Yes! The event will feature raffles, prizes, live and silent auctions, and the ever-popular Krusty Key Game. Plus, there will be brief presentations and awards to cap off the fun.
